  • Sway bar drift.

My front sway bar drifts to the passenger side to the point where the top bolt of the sway bar link on the driver side hits the frame. Any knowledge of this or suggestions greatly appreciated. TIA

You need new sway bar bushings most likely. They are worn allowing the sway bar to slide. If that doesn

+1 to TJ's response. try new bushings. and when you replace them make sure the carriers to the bushings that bolt to the frame - aren't worn out. worth replacing those too while they're off..

Thanks for the parts TJ. Installed and drove around for a bit and everything seems to be staying in position. Found that bolt head from sway bar arm had worn about a 1/16 deep groove where it was rubbing against the frame. Wirebrushed and cleaned and sprayed with rust reformer paint.
